DAN WALSH Guitar Dan, the tallest of 3 Heads Tall at 6'7", is fast becoming a giant in his field of expertise. He is emerging as a well-known guitarist in the Tri-state. Dan has gathered experience playing with many different groups. He has spent time playing with local wedding bands, in multiple acoustic duo's most recently with his cousin Jimmy Cox, has played lead guitar with "The Trips," a popular band in NKY, has played guitar in multiple local plays, has participated in music at his church many times over the years, and has even spent time performing solo acts acoustically. Dan lives music. A music instructor at multiple NKY grade school's by day, Dan is the only member of 3 Heads Tall that has chosen music as a career. Dan's musical calling has helped him develop into one of the best guitarists in the tri-state. GARY BERTSCH Drums, Vocals Gary has proven himself as a "front man" as lead vocalist for popular local bands such as "Tall" and "The Trips." His energetic style and his amazing vocals have entertained crowds for years. He is now proving that a lead singer can also be a good musician as he is one of few musicians who can successfully pull off singing lead while playing a rhythm instrument. Gary skillfully carries over his excitement and energy from his front man days to his performances on drums. It is his energy that drives and motivates the band when they're on stage. According to band members, his energy is one of the most important aspects that helps make it fun for them, and the audience. In his spare time, Gary enjoys reading, writing songs, fishing and watching Avatar: the Last Airbender with his children. KEVIN CLARK Bass Kevin reuites with Gary and Dan from "The Trips" days to join 3HT. Kevin's musical talent began at Highlands High School in Ft. Thomas, KY where he played trumpet with the marching band. He later played bass with the "Paisley Spatula's" before joining "The Trips." Kevin's backup vocals, stage presence and unique headwear add nicely to the 3HT experience. JACK ISAACS Sax, Keyboard Stage left you may see a little guy tucked away in a corner at a 3 Heads Tall show rockin' it out. His name is Jack Isaacs. "Jackie I" might be short, but he has tall music skills. He is one of the best saxaphone players in the area and also plays the keyboard. Don't forget to say hi to Jackie I. |
